Senior🎓
Top SchoolFelix Schoeller is a founder and CEO with nine years of interdisciplinary experience at the intersection of cognitive science, neurotechnology, and immersive media. After a PhD on aesthetic emotions, he led grant-funded research at MIT Media Lab, INSERM, and Bar-Ilan, translating discoveries about aesthetic chills and interoception into clinical interventions for depression, PTSD, and dissociation. He has founded multiple ventures—including ReWire Neurotechnologies and BeSound—where he combines neuromodulation, AR/VR, and sonification to create interfaces that expand human perception rather than constrain it. Felix has built and coordinated large, cross-disciplinary teams and consortia (including a €4M EIC Pathfinder effort) and published in top venues while securing competitive research funding. Based in Santa Monica, he blends artistic practice (award-winning immersive installations and music training) with rigorous science, producing products and protocols that are as experientially compelling as they are therapeutically grounded. Colleagues describe him as a connector who turns deep theory into tangible, human-centered technology.
