Senior🎓
Top SchoolFernando Gallego is a Software Architect specializing in Android AOSP for automotive systems, with 12 years of experience building infotainment platforms and system apps for OEMs like BMW. Based in Munich, he combines deep Android expertise (Java/Kotlin, AOSP, custom UI libraries) with a practical interest in machine learning, computer vision and AR, evidenced by early work on Google Glass and a Self-Driving Cars nanodegree. He has progressed from mobile and wearable development to architecting complex, safety- and performance-sensitive vehicle software stacks at PARADOX CAT. Fernando is comfortable across the stack—system apps, custom views, NDK integration and platform-level AOSP changes—while working in agile, Git-driven teams. Colleagues rely on him to translate cutting-edge research ideas into robust, production-ready Android solutions for embedded environments. His background marrying consumer mobile UX and low-level platform engineering makes him particularly effective at shaping next-generation in-car experiences.
