Top SchoolFernando Ramirez is a Staff Software Engineer and AI lead with a decade of experience building high-performance streaming platforms and distributed systems for multi-platform TV, mobile, and emerging spatial devices. At Angel he led Apple TV and Vision Pro initiatives that propelled the Apple TV app to a Top-2 App Store ranking and launched the company’s first visionOS app with immersive playback and SharePlay integration. He architects cross-platform playback stacks and metadata pipelines spanning tvOS, visionOS, Tizen, webOS, Xbox, and cloud microservices using Swift, Kotlin, TypeScript, and Node.js, with a strong focus on memory, rendering, and HLS performance on constrained hardware. Fernando also drives AI adoption through RAG pipelines, LLM agents, and experimentation tooling that accelerated engineering velocity and product decisions. Known for translating executive strategy into technical roadmaps, he routinely represents the company with platform partners at the senior level and mentors teams to deliver polished, cinematic experiences at scale. Based in Bentonville, he blends hands-on engineering with product-minded leadership and a knack for squeezing big performance wins out of legacy devices.
