Top SchoolFilip Wiechowski is an expert software engineer with 11 years of experience designing and implementing distributed, cloud-native backend systems and real-time data pipelines. He blends low-level C/C++ proficiency with JVM expertise (Java/Kotlin/Scala) and modern languages like Go and Rust to deliver performant, secure microservices at scale. At TomTom he develops incremental real-time processing with a strong focus on testing, observability and performance tuning, using JVM tooling like JFR and JMC alongside Kubernetes and Azure. His background includes end-to-end product delivery—from architecture and mobile apps to payment integrations and profiling—plus mentoring and R&D leadership. A fan of clean code and static analysis, he gravitates toward functional and reactive paradigms to make complex distributed systems more predictable and maintainable.
