🤩
RockstarFilipe Menezes is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of experience building high-throughput, resilient systems across telecom, cloud, and insurance domains. Currently at MongoDB he architects and implements Atlas Control Plane features in Java, Go, Python and JavaScript, while leading infrastructure projects and running POCs for multi-cloud deployments. Previously he led reliability and telecom efforts at Zendesk powering a Twilio-based platform handling over 20 million HTTP requests and 100k daily calls, bringing deep operational insight into fault tolerance and scalability. Comfortable in both Kanban and Scrum teams, he blends hands-on coding with team leadership, process improvement and onboarding. His background spans low-level integrations (C/C++, JNI) to modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), revealing a rare mix of embedded, enterprise and cloud-native experience. Based in Leinster, Ireland, Filipe pairs practical engineering with a tendency to formalize solutions through clear documentation and scoped delivery.
