Senior🎓
Top SchoolFilippo Brizzi is a Head of Software Engineering based in London with 11 years of experience building high-performance computer vision, SLAM, and localization systems for robotics and autonomous vehicles. He progressed from academic research and a PhD-level background in real-time robotics and AR to hands-on engineering roles at Blue Vision Labs, Lyft, Woven Planet, and Arrival, shipping C++ core algorithms, cloud-scale vision services, and production SLAM for factories. Known for bridging research and production, he designs end-to-end systems—from low-latency perception pipelines to Golang APIs and AWS deployments—and now leads engineering at Filics. A pragmatic technologist, he pairs HPC and real-time patterns with pragmatic cloud engineering, and has a track record of owning components across the stack rather than just managing teams.
