👤
SeniorFinlay Macrae is an experienced Environment Manager with over two decades of IT and project leadership expertise and nine years focused on managing complex non-production environments for major UK financial institutions. He specialises in planning, resource allocation and automation for System Integration and Non-Functional Test environments, covering core banking systems, mainframe, batch and payments platforms while also owning GDPR controls and user access. Comfortable with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, UCD and Oracle Apex, he combines hands-on technical delivery with vendor relationship and incident/defect management. Based in Greater Glasgow, he brings a practical, delivery-first mindset and an unusual hobby intersection—active involvement in the local ML/AI and robotics community, including AWS DeepRacer participation under the handle "drunken-monkey"—which reflects a continuous curiosity for automation and emerging tech.
