Top SchoolFirzhan Samsudeen is a lead engineer based in Sydney with 11 years of experience designing, developing and testing mission-critical systems across the full SDLC. He blends deep systems and backend expertise (C++, Java, multithreading, networking, Linux/Unix) with modern cloud and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Puppet) to deliver resilient, production-grade services. His background spans enterprise integration, BPMN/BPEL orchestration, API management and ontology-driven analytics, reflecting a rare mix of distributed systems and semantic/AI tooling. A long tenure at WSO2 followed by a leadership role at ING underscores his ability to evolve from hands-on engineering to technical leadership in large product organizations. He pairs strong toolchain fluency (Maven, Git, JMeter, SoapUI) with practical experience in databases and performance/debugging, enabling him to both architect and troubleshoot complex deployments. Colleagues note his curiosity for applying NLP and opinion-mining technologies to real-world workflows, an angle that often surfaces in his integration and platform work.
