Top SchoolFlorent Pastor is a Platform Engineer with 12 years of experience building reliable infrastructure and developer-facing systems across startups and enterprises, currently at Synspective in Tokyo. He brings SRE discipline from a track record at Workiva—driving tagging policies, company-wide service modeling, and shipping a Service Catalog and SLIs/SLOs tooling—while remaining hands-on with backend and web stacks. Comfortable across the full product lifecycle, he combines technical craft with clear documentation and cross-team facilitation, having led feature design and stakeholder critiques. His early work spans Python web frameworks, real-time data overlay for video, and even VR prototyping, reflecting a pragmatic curiosity for unusual intersections of UX and systems. Outside work he teaches engineering and studies Japanese, underscoring a focus on communication and continuous learning.
