Top SchoolFlorian Leitner is a Head of Machine Learning with 11+ years turning ambiguous, mission-critical problems into production AI systems across capital markets, pharma, and fintech. Based in Madrid, he builds and coaches Data & ML teams that automate IPO, M&A, high-yield bond and loan workflows, combining first-principles thinking, statistics, and a grounding in molecular biology. He moves between research and product fluently—former bioNLP postdoc and PhD turned engineering leader and faculty at IE University—so he excels at translating complex domain knowledge into robust recommenders, search, automation, and predictive analytics. Known for setting a high bar while inviting productive conflict, he focuses on culture, craft, and measurable impact rather than vanity metrics. A polyglot engineer by practice, he brings both academic rigor and practical delivery experience to scale Data & AI organizations.
