Top SchoolFlorian Poncabaré is a Senior Software Engineer based in Toulouse with 11 years of experience building high-performance backend systems, often using Rust and Kotlin. He has designed critical microservices and a proprietary SQL parser with column-level lineage extraction, and previously implemented low-latency components for a major crypto exchange. His background spans embedded systems, audio DSP tools, and aeronautical testing software, reflecting a knack for bridging research-grade algorithms and production engineering. As a founder of a film non-profit, he also brings community-building and creative project leadership to technical teams. Curious about the interplay of technology and human behavior, he experiments with language and “structured chaos” in his code and tooling. Collected across startups, corporate R&D, and open-source projects, his work emphasizes reliability, performance, and pragmatic system design.
