Senior🎓
Top SchoolFrancisco Rodríguez is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Ruby and Ruby on Rails with a decade of experience building scalable, secure web applications from Guadalajara, Mexico. He has led teams and architectures for mission-critical projects—most notably a healthcare and workforce platform that supported over 8 million health screenings and met SOC/HIPAA requirements. Comfortable across the stack, he combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, code review discipline, and test-first practices using tools like RSpec, Sidekiq, Postgres and AWS/Heroku. Early career work in government transparency and education inspired a pragmatic focus on usability and impact; he even built a Rails product that helped 50+ schools share homework during the pandemic. Now at Globant, he continues to drive reliable, maintainable Rails systems while mentoring engineers and championing best practices.
