Top SchoolFrancisco Ruiz is a Senior Software Engineer based in Buenos Aires with five years of hands-on backend experience building scalable, highly available, and observable systems at Mercado Libre. He has driven architecture improvements—applying DDD, Event-Driven and Clean Architecture—to reduce infrastructure costs and cut response times by 50% for Finance & Billing services across Latin America. Beyond coding, he’s taken ownership of technical quality, led migrations (including Spark Java to Spring Boot), and regularly runs tech talks to democratize knowledge on topics like DDD and Clean Architecture. Comfortable in on-call ops and observability tooling (Datadog, Kibana, New Relic), he blends pragmatic incident response with long-term design. Notably, he progressed from internship to senior roles within the same product area, showing a strong trajectory of impact and leadership.
