Senior🎓
Top SchoolFrançois-xavier Mauricard is a senior software engineer and project leader based in Strasbourg with nearly 20 years of software development experience and a decade in formal leadership roles. He has led MOE teams and driven full-stack rewrites and migrations—most recently managing a Symfony/PHP rewrite for pension management systems and architecting a payments and insurance calculation platform. Comfortable across .NET, PHP (Symfony), C++, SQL Server and MySQL, he combines hands-on coding with technical specification, code review and developer mentoring. He has a strong background in legacy modernization, data migration (including Cegid and internal systems) and operational tooling such as GitLab and AWS hosting. Trained as an engineer at CNAM, he pairs formal systems-design education with practical delivery experience in actuarial and insurance domains. Less obvious: his path from early C++ and Delphi work to leading mission-critical enterprise rewrites shows a pragmatic ability to bridge old and new stacks while keeping compliance and reporting needs front and center.
