Top SchoolFrank Delporte is a Senior Technical Writer and seasoned Java developer with over 30 years of experience spanning video, multimedia, digital signage, embedded IoT and web programming. He authors the ebook "Getting Started with Java on Raspberry Pi", contributes to the Pi4J open-source project, and architects developer-focused documentation at Azul for Zulu, Zing and related tooling. Frank blends hands-on coding (Java, ASP.NET/C#, JavaScript, Qt) with a KISS-driven approach to simplify complex systems and automate repetitive docs tasks. He mentors students at FHNW, co-runs CoderDojo Belgium in Ieper, and creates Java-focused content and podcasts for the Friends of OpenJDK community. As a longtime maker of multimedia and embedded solutions, he brings a practical, hardware-aware perspective that helps bridge low-level I/O and production Java ecosystems.
