Frank Mueller is a seasoned engineering leader who builds the infrastructure that enables real-time human and AI co-authoring at Microsoft, leading teams behind Fluid Framework, Azure Fluid Relay, and collaborative experiences in Microsoft 365 Copilot. He has engineered systems that handle consistency, conflict resolution, attribution, and permissions at over a billion sessions per month, and is focused on redefining AI agents as first-class participants in collaborative workflows. Previously he scaled and launched new services and orgs at Amazon—most notably founding and shipping Amazon GameSparks—and led search and content engineering at Yahoo, drawing on an early-career foundation building OneNote and InfoPath. Frank combines deep distributed-systems expertise with product-minded UX collaboration, and now explores how multiple users can safely and productively edit AI-generated interactive experiences in real time. Based in Bellevue, WA, he is open to conversations about real-time collaboration, multi-agent systems, and human-AI co-authoring.
