Senior🎓
Top SchoolFred Moor is an AI and automations engineer with 8 years’ experience building productivity-boosting systems and recommendation engines across retail, beverages, utilities, and travel. Currently leading AI & Automations at Velocity Labs while running Moor Labs and contributing at Marjin, he blends hands-on engineering with experimentation to deliver measurable business value. His work on recommendation systems and social media monitoring helped generate significant commercial impact at Heineken Beverages and reduced lost sales for field teams. A former technical mentor, he pairs strong people skills with rapid prototyping—often learning new languages late into the night—to turn ideas into reliable automation. Based in Cape Town, he’s motivated by experiments and practical ML/automation that free teams from repetitive work, and he’s also trying to lower his golf handicap along the way.
