Senior🎓
Top SchoolFrederick Gleason is a seasoned architect and firm partner based in Boston, leading The Gleason Partnership Architects since 1985 with a practice focused on sensitive rehabilitation of historic and urban properties. With a Harvard M.Arch and over four decades of hands-on experience across project management, master planning, and construction administration, he specializes in navigating complex technical, code, and regulatory constraints including historic commission reviews. He combines pragmatic attention to owners’ concerns—cost, schedule, energy use—with design that enhances context and environmental responsiveness. An experienced collaborator since the late 1970s, he routinely delivers feasibility studies, existing-conditions documentation, and full-spectrum construction drawings for both commercial and residential investments. Outside the studio he sails and contributes to the OpenCPN community, reflecting a practical, systems-oriented mindset that informs both site-sensitive design and long-term stewardship.
