Frederik Bolding is a Senior Staff Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building front- and back-end systems, currently shaping infrastructure and product at Consensys from Odense, Denmark. He brings deep Web3 expertise—contributing to high-profile projects like MetaMask (extension, core, and Snaps) where he worked on UI polish, permission and rate-limiting controllers, and Snap runtime improvements. Comfortable across stacks, Frederik has shipped usability-focused front-end features for dapps (Giveth, chainlist) and implemented backend reliability and serialization fixes in core services. His background includes full-stack work on game and media tooling (ScriptHookVDotNet, TMDbLib), reflecting an ability to bridge user-facing interfaces with low-level runtime concerns. Colleagues know him for methodical refactors and thoughtful UX fixes that quietly remove friction from complex distributed systems. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and a track record of pragmatic open-source contributions that improve both developer and user experiences.
