Top SchoolFredrik Madsen-malmo is a Senior Product Engineer with 11 years of experience building web-first, cloud-native systems and developer tooling. He specializes in full-stack development and platform engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Rust, Go, Kubernetes, observability (OpenTelemetry) and IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu + Terragrunt). Previously leading DevOps efforts, he focused on empowering developers to own operations, streamlining CI/CD, and baking in security and end-to-end observability across microservice architectures. Comfortable moving between frontend (SvelteKit, TypeScript) and backend services (gRPC, Pub/Sub), he thrives in startups where prioritization and rapid iteration matter. An avid language and tooling experimenter, he pairs Clean Architecture and DDD sensibilities with pragmatic delivery. Outside work he recharges with surfing, skiing and an obsessive interest in coffee — and yes, he also loves otters.
