Gary Feierbach is a veteran engineering leader, inventor and founder with decades of experience designing and verifying VLSI chips, architecting parallel computer systems and building high-performance embedded and application software. He has led verification and systems teams at Apple, Sun and Intergraph, brought the Illiac IV to operational status at NASA Ames, and holds more than a dozen patents across chips and devices. As a serial founder and consultant he has launched products from magazine subscription databases to peer-to-peer media platforms, and today runs Inner Access Consulting while exploring AI, Julia and device invention. Notably he combines hands-on implementation—assembler to Python/C++ to chip floorplanning—with business skills in fundraising, go-to-market planning and financial modeling. He also writes science fiction under the pen name Kalifer Deil, reflecting a long-standing habit of bridging technical depth with creative thinking.
