Gilles Noeppel is a founder and gamified learning specialist who blends computer science roots with game design and user-centered development to create serious games, scripted e-learning, interactive 360/3D experiences and live escape/card games. With over a decade of hands-on experience since co-founding Almédia in 2009 and launching Anew Games +, he coordinates technical and artistic teams to turn pedagogical goals into engaging interactive products. Trained in computing and game design at University of Strasbourg and Teesside University, he pairs programming knowledge with deep playtesting habits cultivated during years in the UK game scene. Beyond commercial projects he’s contributed to academic work on urban representation and language learning through games, reflecting a practice-driven research mindset. An early adopter of mixed reality workflows, Gilles is comfortable moving between prototypes made in game jams and full-scale educational deployments.
