Summary
Gustavo Aranda is a videogames programming leader and educator with 20 years of experience combining console and mobile development, academic research, and studio tooling. He leads the Videogame Programming programme at ESAT while teaching advanced programming and videogame history, and also manages international partnerships for the school. Technically fluent in C, C++, C#, Python and OpenAL, he has shipped and ported titles across PSP, Vita, PS4, Switch and iOS, and built custom QA and recording tools used in commercial releases. His PhD research in real-time AI, multi-agent systems and MMOGs informs a practical focus on performant systems and emergent gameplay. Outside academia he contributes to retro-focused projects (notably Dreamcast work on GitHub) and has acted as audio director and composer, a less-obvious blend of technical and creative strengths.
