Hayden Mankin is a computer science-trained educator based in the Columbus, Ohio area who blends classroom instruction with hands-on STEM program leadership. With a BS in Computer Science from Wright State and Ohio K–12 licensure, he teaches Career Technical Education courses in Information Technology and leads the Interactive Media pathway, covering programming, 3D modeling, and game development. As STEM Department Head at a premier sleepaway camp he scaled curricula and launched new robotics, 3D printing, and media programs for ages 7–17 while managing staff and inventories. He brings a decade of youth-focused experience—from tutoring elementary students to running AP computer science labs—and is pursuing a Master’s in Workforce Development and Career Tech Education to deepen his practice. Hayden also explores the intersection of art and computing, using visual media to make math and CS accessible and shareable. His background as a resident life leader and vocational-education alumnus gives him practical experience in building community, mentorship, and resilient learning environments.
