Summary
Hugo Kostic is a founder, technical artist and generalist game developer with nine years’ experience building tooling, systems and content for Unity HDRP and VR projects. He combines hands-on artistry—characters, animation, VFX and cinematics—with engineering skills in C#, Netcode, physics, procedural animation and editor tooling to streamline production and solve edge-case technical challenges. As lead technical artist he has customized render pipelines, authored reusable Unity packages and run Git-centered workflows to raise studio-wide efficiency and training. His indie work at Far From Here Studio produces both a co-op action-adventure (FarLands-Legend) and a suite of internal extensions (rig systems, meteo/VFX and HDRP cores) that double as living prototypes for new techniques. Based in Quiberon, France, he blends academic art training with practical studio leadership and a knack for turning complex VR/render problems into usable tools and tutorials.
