Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolIgor Pick is a Senior Software Engineer based in Israel with a decade-plus background combining Java full‑stack development, Linux systems administration, and high‑capacity network engineering. He has built applications and entire ISP networks from scratch, applying hands‑on expertise with Juniper/Cisco infrastructure, QoS, DDoS protection, and automated monitoring alongside Java, MongoDB, REST APIs and AngularJS frontends. At F5 he worked as a full‑stack engineer building end‑to‑end features and at Red Hat he continues to tackle scalable software problems in an enterprise open‑source context. Equally comfortable in software, Linux, or network domains, he moves quickly between coding, ops and architecture and has supervised mixed teams of permanent and contract staff. A fast learner with strong cross‑level communication skills, he pairs rigorous academic training (first‑class B.Sc. in Computer Science) with practical, production‑grade deliveries. An underappreciated strength is his blend of network automation scripting and application development, which lets him optimize systems across the full stack.
