Top SchoolIgor Rubinsky is a Managing Expert with 16 years of experience applying data analysis, scientific computing and project leadership across research institutions and consulting at d-fine. He progressed from hands-on detector R&D and postdoctoral research at DESY and Hamburg University to driving complex data acquisition, processing and visualization projects and now leads technical teams in a consultancy setting. His background combines deep physics expertise (PhD) and engineering from MEPhI with practical software and systems delivery—ranging from DAQ hardware integration to statistical ML for high-energy experiments. Known for bridging academia and industry, he has repeatedly translated experimental prototypes into production-capable infrastructure and managed multi-disciplinary development from design to deployment. Based in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, he brings a rare mix of detector-level hardware insight and modern data-science/programming fluency that helps clients tackle technically risky, data-intensive programs. An early entrepreneur who launched an online gallery project, he retains a product-minded approach to technical problem solving.
