Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolIgor Shevchenko is an engineering manager based in Helsinki with 13 years of experience leading frontend teams and building design systems, developer tooling, and CI/CD workflows. He combines servant-leadership with hands-on frontend expertise gained at Smartly.io, JetBrains, and Yandex, driving shared UI component libraries and improved designer-developer handovers. At Swappie he now focuses on scaling supply-product engineering to boost device buyback and refurbishment while preserving a frictionless, fair customer experience. His background in physics and early ops/sysadmin roles gives him a systems-minded approach to performance and usability trade-offs. Outside work he sporadically contributes to Saunalol repos and is unabashedly passionate about cats—an odd but telling hint at his attention to comfort and detail.
