Senior🎓
Top SchoolIlya Hlebik is a senior software engineer with nine years of experience building enterprise-grade backend and full-stack systems, currently contributing at Prompt.io from Austin. He has deep expertise in Java and Scala, big data pipelines with Apache Spark, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Vue, demonstrated through end-to-end data platform work at Apple and integration projects across healthcare and travel domains. Ilya consistently delivers performance-focused solutions—evidenced by dramatic query and response-time improvements and a 90% acceleration of legacy-report queries—while owning infrastructure, migrations (Java 8→11), and cross-team production support. Comfortable moving between languages and layers, he treats tools pragmatically to solve business problems and has repeatedly led migrations and new pipeline builds from scratch. He thrives in collaborative environments and seeks roles that push technical boundaries and scale data-driven systems. An unusual strength is his background spanning hands-on systems administration to high-scale data engineering, giving him both operational rigor and development fluency.
