Top SchoolIsabel Cardenas is a Senior Software Developer based in Barcelona with 10 years of experience building resilient, production-grade distributed systems primarily on the JVM using Kotlin and Java. She has a strong fintech and mobility background—leading a Fintech MVP from 0 to 1 at Bnext in four months and modernizing core banking and loyalty platforms at Ouro, where she cut a Kafka subscriber job from days to hours. Isabel blends technical leadership with hands-on delivery: API design, TDD, comprehensive testing, IaC with Terraform on GCP, CI/CD, and observability for high-security environments. Comfortable across the stack, she has implemented payment integrations, event-driven architectures, and migration work that improves developer experience and deployment velocity. Collected experience across startups and enterprise teams has made her adept at turning complex, regulated requirements into maintainable, testable systems.
