Senior🎓
Top SchoolIstvan Pusztai is an experienced software engineering manager in Montreal with 16 years building full-stack product and platform solutions across mobile, web, cloud, and VFX/AR domains. Currently leading teams at Autodesk on Flow Production Tracking, he focuses on AI integration and pragmatic quality-of-life improvements while keeping a hands-on technical approach and mentoring engineers. He moved into management from a deep development background—shipping iOS apps in Swift, React Native mobile projects, Ruby on Rails marketplaces, and complex AWS architectures automated with Terraform, Chef and Ansible. Known for fast turnarounds (e.g., architecting a featured e-commerce marketplace in 2.5 months) and balancing product thinking with engineering rigor, he creates environments that promote ownership, trust and focused work. Unusually for a manager, he still writes production code occasionally and has a history of combining creative design skills with system administration and simulation tool development.
