Itai Friendinger is a seasoned software engineer with 15 years of experience building and operating large-scale, production-critical systems from low-level DSP and assembly to cloud-native services. He architected and maintained transaction processing and post-transaction services at Forter that ran for multiple years, led Forter’s first PCI and SOC2 efforts, and later bridged data science and engineering to productionize ML pipelines. Early work at Microsoft and GigaSpaces honed his skills in monitoring, bin-packing/placement algorithms, orchestration and cloud integrations, while projects in RF and signal processing give him uncommon low-level systems insight. He combines a strong customer focus and cost-conscious mindset with extensive deployment automation and service-level monitoring experience. Comfortable both as a hands-on implementer and as a technical lead, he’s particularly drawn to small innovations that unlock big business value. Based in Tel Aviv, he keeps experimenting across the stack and enjoys turning research and prototypes into resilient production services.
