Top SchoolJ Cornelius is a founder and product strategist with 30 years of human-centered design and operations experience, known for taking ideas from napkin sketch to products used by millions. He built and led Nine Labs, shipped 40+ products for Fortune 500s and startups, grew consumer software to 50M users at CoffeeCup, and scaled a web hosting business to acquisition. As an operator who ran restaurants, a tasting room, and hospitality businesses, he uniquely blends frontline hospitality insight with product leadership—now building Donna, a restaurant management platform for independent operators. Author of Loops: Building Products with Clarity & Confidence, he advises founders and product teams on strategy, positioning, and execution, favoring practical frameworks over trendy pivots. Based in Atlanta, he chooses deliberate exits and focused ventures, preferring to close companies responsibly rather than misalign with client needs.
