Top SchoolJ Edwards is a systems-focused SysDev engineer and entrepreneur with 11 years of experience spanning cloud infrastructure, Linux system administration, and low-level programming. He has driven fleet-health and lifecycle automation at AWS EC2, built reporting systems consumed by senior leadership, and now runs his own consulting company while continuing hands-on systems development. Comfortable across hardware-to-application stacks, he codes in C/C++/Java/PHP and is teaching himself Python while expanding automation skills with Ansible and Chef. A practical tinkerer, he maintains a private cloud lab, built a pfSense firewall, and is future-proofing his home with smart wiring—evidence of his habit to prototype real-world solutions. An Eagle Scout and effective team leader, he prefers roles that move beyond support into systems development where his insights shape durable, scalable operations. Based in Texas, he blends deep Linux distro experience with a passion for automating repetitive work and building reliable infrastructure.
