Top SchoolJ Subramanya is a senior engineering leader with nearly two decades of experience designing and delivering large-scale cloud and on-premise systems, currently driving a $26M cybersecurity and smart cities portfolio at Cisco. He combines hands-on system design and architecture (microservices, Kafka, ELK, TimescaleDB, Hadoop) with product and sales influence, turning complex visions into revenue-generating products—one of which contributes to a $10M business while another transition generated $1M. Known for operational rigor, he halved lab Opex and delivered $400K in cost savings through lab optimization and process improvements. Comfortable across Agile and Waterfall, his strengths span budget, stakeholder and finance management as well as edge intelligence and IoT platforms. Based in Bengaluru with a BE in Electrical & Electronics, he blends low-level performance troubleshooting with strategic product thinking—often surfacing high-impact technical fixes that directly improve customer outcomes and revenue.
