Jaap Gorjup
Director Cloud Operations
Netherlands
Summary
👤
SeniorJaap Gorjup is a Director of Cloud Operations with over a decade of experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native infrastructures across Europe and Asia. He has led greenfield transformations as CIO and CTO—building branchless, paperless fintech and centralized back-office platforms—and now drives cloud strategy and commoditization at Eurofiber Cloud Infra. Known for out-of-the-box thinking and translating complex architecture into pragmatic, deployable systems, he’s built CI/CD practices and multi-region teams spanning Hong Kong, the Philippines and India. Jaap blends hands-on engineering with strategic product thinking, favoring IT that fades into the background by becoming a utility; less obvious is his track record of creating agent-based mobile lending networks and orchestrating cross-border delivery models.
