Senior🎓
Top SchoolJaap Moolenaar is a Senior Backend Developer and seasoned full-stack web engineer with over two decades of hands-on experience, currently freelancing from Huizen and delivering robust Laravel, Symfony, Go and Vue.js solutions. He has a strong track record building production systems—custom CMS platforms, appointment schedulers, a crypto/forex trading bot—and most recently shipping Stripe and Moneybird invoicing integrations for a SaaS portal while at Paro Software. Comfortable across the full stack and infrastructure stack, Jaap routinely deploys containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS and has architected integrations that stood up to live use from day one. His career includes navigating complex B2B requirements and cross-cultural collaboration at ASICS Technology, where he implemented a 3D product designer and translated legacy vendor workflows into scalable features. Pragmatic, adaptable and client-focused, he combines deep PHP roots with modern Go and frontend skills and a freelance mindset that values clear communication and getting things reliably across the finish line.
