Top SchoolJacek Chmiel is a Senior Software Developer with 11 years of experience specializing in high-performance systems written in C, C++ and increasingly Rust, currently applying his skills at Google. His background in Control Engineering and early work on Cortex-M4 embedded systems give him a strong foundation in mathematics, electronics and real-time constraints, which he now leverages to build robust, safe services and microservices. Jacek has shipped firmware and cloud-connected IoT devices, led embedded teams, and implemented real-time services in Rust and Scala across startups and large corporations like Volvo Cars. He favors Rust for its safety and ecosystem but remains pragmatic, drawing on deep C/C++ expertise for performance-critical components. Based in Krakow, he combines hands-on engineering with practical system design and an interest in automation and test infrastructure that improves delivery reliability.
