Senior🎓
Top SchoolJack Buckland is a Senior Frontend Developer with 13 years of experience building performant, user-focused web applications and occasionally leading small tech teams. He has recent senior roles at Nutrient and Benefex and a broad freelance background where he delivered SPAs, custom CMSs, design systems and e-commerce solutions using React, Vue, Laravel and modern build tools. Jack blends front-end engineering with strong visual and UX sensibilities—comfortable hand-crafting SVGs, animations and component-first responsive design—and he prioritises testing, CI and performance. His toolkit spans CSS methodologies (BEM, Tailwind, CSS Modules), modern JS (ES2015+), and pragmatic backend skills in PHP/Node and raw SQL, enabling him to own full-stack features when needed. Notably, he pairs academic training in web computing with hands-on interests like image analysis algorithms and HCI-informed interactions, bringing both polish and algorithmic thinking to product work.
