Summary
👤
SeniorJack Burrows is a game designer with 11 years of hands-on experience crafting levels, systems, and moment-to-moment gameplay for AAA shooters and multiplayer experiences. He has contributed to major franchises at Treyarch and Activision Blizzard, iterated large-scale multiplayer POIs at 31st Union, and designed in Unreal Engine 5 for Marvel Rivals at NetEase before moving into core gameplay design at Sierra Division. Jack blends top-down blueprint design and 3D blockout workflows with competitive analysis and polish-driven iteration, and he has a track record of mentoring interns who went on to full-time roles. Based in Redmond, he pairs a BFA in Interactive Design and Game Development with practical tool proficiency (UE5, Maya, Illustrator, JIRA) and a background in QA that sharpens his systems thinking and bug-focused rigor. Notably, his career shows a steady progression from QA systems and testing into senior level design and now broader gameplay system design, reflecting a rare combination of production discipline and creative vision.
