Senior🎓
Top SchoolJack Gibbons is a Site Reliability Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native infrastructure for startups and enterprises across the Greater Philadelphia area. He has led Kubernetes cluster management, Terraform automation, Helm chart design, and CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability and developer velocity at companies like Subspace, AirMap, Perpay, and Baseten. Jack specializes in observability and scalable monitoring, having migrated Prometheus to Cortex remote-write and deployed end-to-end alerting stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki. He’s driven migrations off complex streaming stacks to simpler, high-performance solutions (Benthos, ClickHouse, Superset) and automated large-scale AKS/GKE cluster migrations using Terraform and GitOps. Comfortable both in delivery leadership and deep technical execution, he pairs a Master’s in Computer Information Science with practical SRE craftsmanship that consistently reduces operational toil. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic infrastructure simplification that balances availability, cost, and developer experience.
