Top SchoolJack Jackson is a quality-minded senior software engineer with 13 years of experience building maintainable, high-impact systems and improving developer workflows. Based in Berkeley, he brings systems thinking from roles at Amazon—where he led the Music Metrics and Data Platform—and Staff SRE experience at LegalZoom to his current engineering role at Vercel. He prioritizes long-term maintainability, self-service tooling, and customer delight while mentoring engineers and advocating for privacy-conscious practices. Jack runs a self-hosted Gitea instance, signaling a hands-on, privacy-first approach to tooling and open-source collaboration. He combines technical leadership with a mathematician’s rigor from Cambridge, turning complex requirements into practical, auditable solutions.
