Top SchoolJack Lindamood is a seasoned software engineer with 17 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure across startups and tech giants like Facebook, SignalFx, Twitch, and Anthropic. He combines deep hands-on skills in Go, Python, C++, Java, and PHP with operational expertise in AWS services (DynamoDB, SQS, ECS, EC2, ElastiCache) to design resilient, production-grade systems. At SignalFx he led Go repository design and authored key open-source integrations; at Twitch and Facebook he architected feed and media systems that handled massive scale. More recently he has driven infrastructure strategy and team building as Head of Infrastructure at Cresta and contributed to supercomputing and core infra at xAI and Anthropic. Jack also mentors engineers, teaches onboarding classes, and shares technical learnings through conference talks and a Medium blog, reflecting a strong emphasis on developer experience and reproducible build systems. An under-the-radar strength is his repeated role in formalizing engineering practices—build systems, CI/CD, and postmortem processes—that make teams sustainably fast.
