Senior🎓
Top SchoolJack Sierkstra is an IT manager and former software engineer with 13 years of experience modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native, high-concurrency architectures. He blends hands-on engineering (Android, Java, .NET, microservices) with people-oriented project management and a pragmatic focus on maintainability and communication. His career spans consultancy and in-house roles at banks, pension and public transport platforms, where he introduced practices like ATDD and helped accelerate delivery through microservices. Now leading IT and projects at GAM Bakker, he retains a tinkerer’s curiosity—on and off the court—bringing honesty, collaboration, and a preference for clear, practical solutions to complex technical challenges.
