Senior🎓
Top SchoolJackson Borneman is a Cloud Engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building secure, production-ready systems across AWS and enterprise environments. He has delivered practical cloud and cybersecurity solutions—from an Elastic Beanstalk/MongoDB inventory system that modernized operations for a native plant nursery to high-performance secure video and access management architectures for cleared facilities. Comfortable operating at the intersection of DevOps, forensics, and cyber risk management, he has coordinated NIST 800-171/RMF–aligned migrations and led small teams through infrastructure moves and policy-driven deployments. Currently at Appian Logic and concurrently running IT operations for Watermark Woods, he blends startup agility with government-grade security discipline. An Eagle Scout and lifelong tinkerer, Jackson pairs curiosity-driven projects (his GitHub notes hint at playful experimentation) with a strong practical focus on shipping useful tooling. He is completing a BASc in Cybersecurity at George Mason University, reinforcing a career that bridges applied engineering and security.
