Top SchoolJacob Godin is a founder and seasoned cloud infrastructure engineer with 17 years of experience building and operating OpenStack, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms for startups and service providers. As owner of Hopbine Corp. and former Director of Cloud Services at AMPD, he blends hands-on system administration (Debian/Arch/RHEL), automation with Ansible and GitOps, and container orchestration to deliver reliable, production-grade environments. He co-founded multiple ventures including Cloud-A and Cloud Brewery, where his product-minded approach helped identify and close gaps in the OpenStack ecosystem. Comfortable across networking, monitoring, databases, and scripting (Bash, Python, Lua), Jacob pairs technical depth with business operations and customer-facing experience. Based in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, he still prefers rolling up his sleeves to debug the stack himself rather than hand it off.
