Summary
👤
SeniorJacob Rossi is a product leader with 13 years of experience building zero-to-one products and two-sided platforms at Microsoft, Meta/Oculus, and Cruise, currently shaping Meta's OS and developer platform for Quest VR/MR. He combines deep technical fluency—evidenced by multiple patents and contributions to web standards and a front-end contribution to the Microsoft Edge status site—with hands-on execution as a single-threaded lead for large, complex initiatives like Meta Quest Pro. Jacob has led cross-functional orgs and managed managers, negotiated strategic partnerships with Microsoft to bring Office, Teams, Windows, and Xbox into VR, and driven ML simulation tooling for autonomous vehicles. Comfortable switching between founder-level ambiguity and enterprise-scale coordination, he excels at translating standards, browser and XR expertise, and platform strategy into developer-facing products that scale. Based in Seattle, he brings a rare mix of standards-level influence and practical product delivery across web, VR, and AV domains.
