Top SchoolJacob Thompson is a Director of IT with a multidisciplinary eight-year technical career and deep roots in renewable energy research and hands-on fieldwork. He combines systems and data experience—from ActionScript development and machine learning projects to managing ocean and energy datasets—with leadership roles building IT and facilities operations at Aurea. Jacob’s M.Sc. work produced an interactive regional Energy Map and a validated near-100% renewables scenario, reflecting his ability to turn complex energy data into actionable policy tools. Equally comfortable in server rooms and the forest, he brings entrepreneurial energy through Wiwasolvet and a lifetime of planting 218,000 trees that underscores a pragmatic, systems-thinking approach to sustainability.
