Top SchoolJacobo B is a creative technologist and Co-Founder with over 25 years blending art and software across VFX, CG animation, AR/VR, photogrammetry, and generative AI. After a start as a character animator and award-winning work on projects like Pocoyo, he spent a decade at ILM delivering effects for major films before joining Apple to lead AR/VR and generative AI R&D. He builds tools and pipelines that empower artists, pairing hands-on engineering with creative direction to move prototypes into production. Based in San Francisco, he now leads Kaitoi Labs to commercialize artist-centered software and research. Outside work he composes music, woodworks, flies and sails—practical hobbies that mirror his multidisciplinary approach to problem solving. Though his active GitHub is modest, he maintains contribution access and points collaborators to a personal Codeberg account, signaling a preference for focused, cross-platform collaboration.
