Top SchoolJacques Malaprade is a data scientist with 12 years' experience blending Python-led software development, machine learning and signal processing in Linux environments, currently extracting insights from global instrumentation at AP Sensing. He pairs an academic foundation—a Distinction MSc in Remote Sensing from UCL and research on vegetation fluorescence—with practical cloud and HPC experience gained at Verne Global and in his own software consultancy. Skilled in mathematical modelling, performance optimisation and practical orchestration (BASH, OpenStack), he moves models from research into production-ready pipelines. His background in geomatics and membership in the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors give him a rare geospatial lens on AI problems, enabling creative solutions for continuous sensor data at scale.
